ISO/IEC 17021-1
Course Description
This dynamic two-day training course is ideal for staff and contractors of certification bodies and accreditation bodies, as well as other interested parties seeking a better understanding of how certification bodies implement ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements and how accreditation bodies assess to those requirements.
Understanding ISO/IEC 17021-1 is critical to implementing an effective certification program to meet the needs of clients and other interested parties.
This course will assist attendees with understanding the linkages of each of the requirements within the standard and provide attendees with a more in-depth look at the requirements. In addition, topics covered will include the international perspective and linkage with other requirements such as IAF mandatory, guidance, and informative documents; ISAC Accreditation Rules; ISO certification standards, and relevant ISO support standards. Exercises throughout the training provide attendees with a diverse learning experience.
ISO/IEC 17025:2017
Course Description
Navigating the New ISO/IEC 17025:2017 - Comparison to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, is self-paced, web-based training delivered through MindFlash. It provides an introduction to the structure and content of ISO/IECX 17025:2017 and presents a crosswalk comparison to ISO/IEC 17025:2005. In addition, the course outlines the key changes to ISO/IEC 17025 by identifying requirements that are new, substantially revised, and deleted. The course is anticipated to take approximately two hours, but participants can move through the training at their own pace.
After payment for the training is processed, we will ask for your preferred start date and will send you access to the training for three calendar days. Once you begin the training, you will be able to open and close the session as often as you like within those three calendar days. An attendance certificate will be emailed upon completion.
Please note: The information presented assumes that the attendee has a solid understanding of the structure and content of ISO/IEC 17025:2005. The information presented is not meant to instruct a laboratory on how to transition to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements or to demonstrate how to come into compliance with the new requirements.

Course Description
ISAC's two-day workshop on ISO/IEC 17024 has offered helpful guidance and support to personnel certification bodies for many years.

Objective

This workshop is designed to introduce organizations considering accreditation by ISAC to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024, General requirements for bodies operating certification schemes for persons. The standard is a globally accepted benchmark for bodies managing the certification of persons and is being increasingly recognized by the Indian government, the certification industry, and organized labor.

Attendees of this course will learn how to coordinate a quality management system audit to ISO/IEC 17020 and collect audit evidence and document observations, including techniques for effective questioning and listening.
